BioI have too many livejournals... but this one is for focusing on getting healthy, losing weight and working out.
A little about me:
I am 20something, in a long term relationship with a wonderful boy (4 years as of August 2009), we live together in a two bedroom apartment in a medium sized college town in the Chicago suburbs. Neither of us are thin.
I work in radio (yes, I talk on the radio, sometimes I even play the blues), cleaning offices (well, really one office) and hopefully as of the new school year will be a teacher's assistant.
I was a communications major while still in school (Stupid Money) with focus on public speaking and radio. I plan on eventually being a public speaking teacher and speech/forensics coach. Speech Team helped to get me out of my shell, and I hope to do that for others as well. My childhood was not a happy one (if you want to know, ask, I am more than willing to discuss), and speech gave me something else to focus on.
I love all sorts of music (growing up in a home filled with records will do that to a person). In fact, I could probably honestly say that there isn't one musical genre that I wouldn't at least find one song I like. I am not a huge fan of "Pop" music -- including Pop hip-hop, punk, country, etc.
I am a geek deep down. I love shows such as Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica (R.I.P. *tear*), Torchwood, Firefly...
Also, I love giraffes.... but you already knew that. :)
